Why Does It Seem So Hard Sometimes?
Aren't love, family, home and all they represent supposed to be peaceful - an oasis of tranquility you can escape to from the mean ol' nasty world?
Then why are so many stepfamily homes falling apart, wracked with tension, fighting, and stress?
Could it be that our focus becomes trained on the problems full time rather than on any nuggets of hope we may have?
I know, I know ... it's hard to focus on peace when you're in the middle of chaos and feel like you're being attacked from all sides. Been there, done that myself.
But it's from that very memory of the nagging stress that my desire to help you find a peaceful oasis comes.
That's what the "Chapel" is all about - some messages of encouragement and inspiration for those dark, stormy nights.
Just like with a real building, we will be adding rooms and features. I hope you'll visit often and please encourage its growth by offering suggestions and comments about what you'd like to see here.
God bless your family as you, too, grow and change into the team He intends for you to be.

Love
(real love, the kind that can make a stepfamily survive and succeed):
- is patient
- is kind
- does not envy
- does not boast
- is not proud
- is not rude
- is not self-seeking
- is not easily angered
- keeps no record of wrongs
- does not delight in evil
- rejoices with the truth
- always protects
- always trusts
- always hopes
- always perseveres
